*Bryant-Jordan Scholarship Nominations (January 4)

There are 2 awards with different criteria.  Click on the title that you would like to apply for nomination consideration.

DEADLINE: JANUARY 4, 2018

Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Award <-----(Click title in interested)
Each school will nominate 1 student for the Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Award.  Each nominee must be a high school senior and be a superior student and athlete.  Some of the considered factors are:
1. Grade Point Average
2. Class Standing/Rank
3. ACT/SAT Scores
4. Sports:
Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Track and Field, Tennis, Golf, Swimming, Cheerleading, Soccer, Cross Country, Bowling
5. Athletic Honors:
All-American, All-State, All-Conference, All-County, All-City, Team Captain, MVP
6. Student Leadership:
SGA Officer, Class Officer, Club Officer
7. Civic/Church Leadership:
Sunday School Teacher, Youth Organization Leader, FCA, YMCA or Community rec programs, Campus Crusade of Christ

Bryant-Jordan Achievement Award <-----(Click title in interested)
Each school will nominate 1 student for the Bryant-Jordan Achievement Award.  Each nominee must be a high school senior who is believed to be deserving of recognition for the achievement attained by the student.  The student must have participated in an AHSAA recognized sport at the High School and attained a measure of academic success and/or have overcome some unusual Hardship.  Some of the considered factors are:
1. Academic Performance Relative to Measured Ability
2. Sports:
Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Track and Field, Tennis, Golf, Swimming, Cheerleading, Soccer, Cross Country, Bowling
3. Athletic Honors:
All-American, All-State, All-Conference, All-County, All-City, Team Captain, MVP
4. Student Leadership:
SGA Officer, Class Officer, Club Officer
5. Civic/Church Leadership:
Sunday School Teacher, Youth Organization Leader, FCA, YMCA or Community rec programs, Campus Crusade of Christ
6. Achievement Award winners may be considered from any of the following examples:
-Achievement beyond normal expectations based on test data and faculty evaluations
-Overcoming physical hardships or handicaps that affect academic or athlete performance
-Overcoming social or family problems
