YOU ARE NOT A NEW STUDENT IF YOU ATTENDED McADORY MIDDLE SCHOOL or McADORY HIGH SCHOOL last year.

RETURNING STUDENTS - RESIDENCE VERIFICATION:

Every RETURNING student must verify their residence.  Residence Verification:

o   Lease, Deed or mortgage

o   Two (2) utility bills

o   Photo ID or Alabama Driver’s License

If 2nd Party Residence Verification you must sit down with an administrator.
  The administrator will go over your documents and give you a Principal's checklist.  You will take THAT to the Jefferson County Board of Education.


Homeowner:      o Lease, Deed or mortgage

                         o Two (2) utility bills

                         o Alabama Driver’s License

 

Guardian Items:   o Current bank statement

                           o W-2 forms,

                           o Pay stubs

                           o Current registration

                           o Any current court docs

                           o Current proof of insurance

JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED.

You can make copies to speed the process, but you must bring original documents!  You will also need to complete and turn in Returning Student documents.  Here is the link to fill them out and print them before you come to residence verification.

NEW STUDENTS 

Students enrolling to McAdory High for the first time must see an administrator.  Please make an appointment.  You must bring birth certificate, social security card, blue immunization form, withdrawal notice from previous school, unofficial transcript from previous school. If your name is not on the original birth certificate, you must also bring legal court documents identifying you as legal guardian of the student.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT

The following is a list of items required for registration in Jefferson County:

Single Party Residence

Current Lease or Deed
2 Current Utility Bills (Power, Water or Gas)
Parent/Guardian Picture ID
Student Social Security Card (requested not required)
Birth Certificate
Current Alabama Immunization Form

2nd Party Residency

Take the following information to the SCHOOL you are zoned for to get your principals checklist.  Once you have your checklist, you will come to the BOE to complete the affidavit process.

Property Owner:
Copy of Lease or Deed - If the property is leased, the parent of the student is required to be added to the lease
2 Current Utility Bills ( Power, Water or Gas)

Parent of Student:
2 Proofs of Residence -(Acceptable items include - Car Insurance, Bank Statement, Medical Bills, Current Pay Stub, Car Tag Receipt, Proof of Medicaid or Health Insurance)

New to McAdory High School -
In addition to everything listed above:
original social security card - We will make a copy
original birth certificate - We will make a copy
original Immunization Form - We will keep the original
Withdrawal Form from the school you are leaving
Unofficial Transcript fro the school you are leaving
